Well, since they're using that particular picture (the Monty Python one) of God, I don't feel all that conceited in posting this. :-)

Grammar God!
You are a GRAMMAR GOD!

If your mission in life is not already to
preserve the English tongue, it should be.
Congratulations and thank you!

How grammatically sound are you?

maybe with the aid of a ball gag and some duct tape to stop her from typing/talking.

Yeah, I read more of her journal. No, I couldn't stand being around her for more than 5 minutes. *sigh*

i have an acquaintance that "dated" her for a bit.

i have realized just how lonely he must be...
he is a true grammar nazi - the only person that strikes enough fear in me to use capitalization and proper sentence structure when i email/im him.

*chuckle* Yeah, I tend to use correct spelling and capitalization, but I don't insist on others do it, so it seems more like an amusing quirk than something to be afraid of.

hmm.. I am also a grammar diety. Nice to know I'm not being completely pompous being the proofreader for Emerald city. ;)

*laugh* The thing is, though I know the rules, I often think they're a bit silly or over-constrained. Language is a living thing. It should change over time. :-)

Congratulations on being a proofreader. I can't do that. My brain just corrects spelling and grammar long before comprehension sets in. I just don't notice the mistakes unless they have some serious semantic consequence.

Master!
You are a MASTER of the English language!

While your English is not exactly perfect,
you are still more grammatically correct than
just about every American. Still, there is
always room for improvement...
