It's only taking me a little over an hour to download 2.1 gigabytes worth of stuff. That's an average rate of 4.29 megabits/second. As a contrast, my connection in Minneapolis is 640 kilobits/second. That's about 8 times faster. It's a little scary.

Technically, I'm supposed to be able to manage an incoming bandwidth of 6mbps, but I don't ever expect to actually quite achieve that. Even 4.3mbps is at the point where the limiting factor for most sites is how fast they'll send me stuff, not how fast I can receive it.
