And it's actually a feature of orkut that I rather like.

My LiveBrownie status!

It needs work though. Mostly in the realm of authentication. They need to ask you to post something in your LJ, or alter your friends list or something in order to prove that you own your LJ. Then you can create an account with them using a separate password so you can edit your own ratings later and nobody else can edit your ratings for you.

*laugh* That would be a great way to tell a story. Do a graphic novel in terms of Ikea furniture hieroglyphics. :-)

The stars count the number of people who've decided they're 'fans' of yours. The smileys are 'trustworthiness' points, the hearts are 'hotness' points, and the ice cubes are 'coolness' points.

Or trustworthyness. I think that one's even harder. Most of my ratings have been for people I've met.
