I got it working. I have a record for TestOpenID on the Python cheese shop website. There is also a link to my own page on TestOpenID.

It should be easy_install able.

I did see that, though I didn't feel it was appropriate to use for this particular application. The license it's under worries me a bit as well. :-/

Yes. It also gives a few details about the program, like that it's intended to run on the web, that it's not intended for end users and that it's licensed under the GNU Public License (and Open Source license).
