You know, I had the same question. It looks like a big, sturdy boat though. Maybe they think they can ride out a hurricane or something bizarre like that.

I grabbed it and shared it with a bunch of coworkers. One of them (who would know) says the boat is freighter. It's probably trying to get the hell out of there and one of the crewmen took the opportunity to get a pic.
