I dumped them In February 2002. They botched the install when i moved into my current apartment in September 2001, and on a couple occasions tried to charge me trouble isolation charges for what turned out to be a cable cust in one case and a shorted-out phone room located directly below a laundry room and a washer that overflowed.

How?

I would like to dump QWest, but none of the other providers I know of who operate in this area offer DSL. :-(

I live near Ground Zero, the Aveda Institute, City Salvage, Conga, and a few other places. 8th ST SE & E Hennipen. I use Visi as my ISP. I pay Qwest for the DSL link to Visi. I want DSL such that I'm still linked to Visi, and I get no QWest bill at all.

Part of the situation is that I have been using a cable modem since they bacame available here in September 2001, and as a result, have no need for a landline phone.

Overall, what I spend for cable, internet, and phone service:

$110/mo for digital cable, DVR, and cable modem. No premium channels.

$40/mo for the cell phone. National network plan, 550 anytime minutes per month, unlimited night/weekend, domestic long distance included.

What I WAS spending with Qwest: about $36 per month, only features were caller ID, call following, and call forward busy.

I could have told you that based on billing experiences with them. However, they are better than AT&T & their clueless & rude india based customer service people
