09:11 am - My Mac came back

Previous Entry Share Next Entry

My PowerBook came back yesterday. I'm happy now. They even replaced the LCD so it's no longer cloudy.

Since I went to the trouble of saving everything from it and wiping it before I sent it to Apple, I wiped it completely and installed Mac OSX 10.3 (Panther) on it. Fast user switching will be so convenient when I want to let a friend use it for a bit.

Current Mood: [mood icon] happy
Current Music: The ditty from "The Cat Came Back" in my head

Well, it automatically leaves suspend mode (sort of like the power turning on) when I open it up to see the windows on the screen. The screen is sort of like a window in itself. Also, there's a window where I can play with the power settings. That's sort of a power window. Do any of those count?

Cool. Have you used Macs for a long time? I just bought a G4 iBook a few weeks ago and am still finding my way around.

BTW: while I'm here, I wish you a happy New Year.

No, this is the first Mac I've ever owned, and I bought it in mid-October.

And a Happy New Years to you too. :-)
