I just watched Alexander with rainonthewind. We left before the movie ended.

The acting ranged from good to mediocre. The script was so abysmal it was painful. The direction was very poor, and the story lacked any cohesion.

This is only the fourth movie I've ever walked out on, and the only one I've walked out on because the movie was simply bad. Admittedly, I sat through a whole bunch of it hoping it would get better, but it never did. *sigh*

That's a pity.

I only recently heard about that movie's existence, and I was hoping it would be good. Seems like there's plenty of material in Alexander's story to make a good movie.
