10:08 pm - The pictures from my window

Previous Entry Share Next Entry

First, the wide angle view showing my entire window as seen from my chair. The remaining shots are a pan from right to left of a zoomed in view. The thumbnails click through to the gigantic picture. Note that Firefox automatically scales images to fit the browser window, so you may have to click on the full size image again to get it to actually appear full size.

And, here's a link to the raw image directory containing all the pictures.

No, Seattle. I moved out here to Seattle in November of 2003 to get a job with Amazon. :-)

That's amusing about Smallville. :-)

I do miss mountains.

Very cool. I am somewhat envious because I never had a job with a view. Of course my jobs tend to be on the short side when it comes to desks to sit at and enjoy them.

Ah yes :) Thank you.

I personally have no good shots of the city. So this is nice to look at. Looks like some nice weather... or is it an illusion?

Nope, really is good weather - 40s to low 50s daytime, high 20s to high 30s at night; was in the 60s a week ago. No rain in Seattle, plus warm weather, means no snow in the mountains (not the ones in the pictures, those are on the Olympic peninsula, those in the opposite direction) and thus water and power shortage come later summer.

Ah, of course. I lived in Seattle for a good 15 years until last summer :) Now I split my time, but haven't spent enough there. Of course, the winter that I'm gone, comes the first January with 60-degree highs.

I consider the weather to be an ominous sign. Climate change makes me nervous.

You should've not been shy and met up with me while you still lived in Seattle. :-) It would've been fun and interesting.

Awesome.

I have *got* to make it out there sometime.

I have 2 free NWA tickets I have to use this year...maybe Seattle is a good spot.

It's a big stadium. It has a giant "Big Brother is Watching" screen in it. I have a picture looking down into it from the highest building in Seattle.
