My sisters grew up with a completely different level of privilege than I did. It's kind of odd. Their childhoods were as the offspring of a nightshift factory worker and a secretary who lived in a trailer park. My dad graduated from college when I was born (my oldest sister was 13), about a year after they moved into an actual house. Being born after they were established meant a lot more privilege for me. It's just interesting to reflect upon.
