I went to a career fair at the Minneapolis convention center today. It was almost as pointless as I thought it would be, though there were a couple of contacts I should follow up on.

Mostly though it was collection agencies and telemarketers. Very depressing. :-(

There were schools there though. And one school wasn't a total Microsoft sellout, and they need instructors. I could do that part time, if needed. Also, there were a couple of people there representing smaller places who would soon need computer people of various varieties. One was a dairy who ran all their systems on DOS. A perfect candidate for moving to Linux. Time to go figure out how FreeDOS works. :-)
